Hi, welcome to Slowly Forward Editing. I want to work with you!

Read all about it:

Slowly Forward Editing is just one person (for now). I am a freelance writer with 7+ years of experience in this ever-changing field. With a recent focus on trending commerce coverage, I'm interested in parlaying these skills into the book editing world. For me, all progress is good progress, no matter what. Whether you're just starting or need a final read-through, my process continuously moves forward at your pace.

Why should you work with me?

Working alongside writers and editors over the years has shown me that it matters when shaping even the smallest of details. See examples below!

A little bit about Slowly Forward Editing:

The idea stems from the fact that all growth is something to celebrate. In a world teeming with fast-paced trends, I want to rewind and slow it all down to focus on the stories that make an impact.

About me as a person:

Post-college, I started at the Columbia Publishing Program in 2017. After moving to New York, I interned at a literary agency and a women-led investment group until finding freelance work at a fashion marketplace.

From there, I've worked with sites like BuzzFeed, LoveToKnow, and InStyle to craft commerce-focused articles.

Now I'm moving into the editing realm and want to help shape your manuscript! I hope we can work together!

I've worked in the writing industry for years now, and have a strong grasp of the written word. In my free time, I was often editing manuscripts for clients and decided to make it my priority. I'm looking for work that is full-hearted and captivating. I love stories of redemption and friendships that feel like found family.

Like my stuff? Want to work together? Drop me a message and I’ll get back to you ASAP!
